At Precious African Gems, we've done our best to create a Web site that anticipates and satisfies our customers' needs. With that goal in mind, we've compiled a list of frequently asked questions. How do I order gems?
Fill out the order form that is on the web, send an e-mail listing the Tray number and gem number, or call us to place an order.
When will I receive my order?
Usually we ship the next day we receive your order so depending where you live approximately 3 to 5 days.
Can I make changes to my order after it has been submitted?
Yes, As long as your order has not already been sent out.
Can I return return stones after I receive them?
Yes. We have a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. It's easy to exchange or return items. All unaltered items may be returned for a cash refund, exchange or credit within 10 days. Any modification to rough or cut material voids any return privileges.
Any stones purchased by Credit Card or PayPal that are returned will be subject to a 5% restocking fee. This is due to the fee’s we pay to the credit card company.
How is my order shipped?
All domestic orders are shipped Insured USPS. International orders are shipped by USPS.
How are shipping charges calculated?
Shipping charges as based on the total value of the shipment and the weight.
What if my shipment is damaged?
If the packaging appears damaged on the outside, please refuse to accept it from the carrier; or please make sure when signing the shipper’s proof-of-delivery slip, you include a note stating the package is or appears damaged. If you do accept a damaged shipment, please inform us immediately. Depending on the product and where/how it was shipped, it may be necessary for you to deal with the carrier.
What if want to return a shipment?
All return items must be unaltered and may be returned for a cash refund, credit or exchange within 15 days. Any modification to rough or cut material, by any means, voids any return privileges. Shipping/processing charges will not be refunded.
What method of payment do you accept?
We accept payment by VISA, Master Card. While we don't advocate putting credit card numbers into the Net, we do leave it up to you. If you want to e-mail us your phone number and the best time(s) to reach you, we will be glad to call you to verify your order/card number. We also accept personal, business, or bank checks and money orders or Paypal from the USA. For Paypal orders from outside the USA, please add 2.5% to cover the extra fee from Paypal.
Privacy Notice
We consider any and all information we collect in our ordering process or mail list as confidential, and for our use only in processing orders. We do not sell, share, or otherwise release names, addresses, or other information to any other person, business, or entity. We have security measures in place to prevent unauthorized access to this information, and protect all information to the best of our ability.
