At Precious African Gems, we've done our best to create a Web site that anticipates and satisfies our customers' needs. With that goal in mind, we've compiled a list of frequently asked questions. How do I order gems?
Send an e-mail listing the gem numbers you wish to purchase, or call us to place an order.
When will I receive my order?
Usually we ship the next day after we receive your order, so depending where you live approximately 3 to 5 days.
Can I make changes to my order after it has been submitted?
Yes, As long as your order has not already been sent out.
Can I return return stones after I receive them?
Yes. We have a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. It's easy to exchange or return items. All unaltered items may be returned for a cash refund, exchange or credit within 10 days. Any modification to rough or cut material voids any return privileges.
How is my order shipped?
All domestic orders are shipped Insured USPS. International orders are shipped by USPS.
How are shipping charges calculated?
Shipping charges as based on the total value of the shipment and the weight.
What if my shipment is damaged?
If the packaging appears damaged on the outside, please refuse to accept it from the carrier; or please make sure when signing the shipper’s proof-of-delivery slip, you include a note stating the package is or appears damaged. If you do accept a damaged shipment, please inform us immediately. Depending on the product and where/how it was shipped, it may be necessary for you to deal with the carrier.
What if want to return a shipment?
All return items must be unaltered and may be returned for a cash refund, credit or exchange within 15 days. Any modification to rough or cut material, by any means, voids any return privileges. Shipping/processing charges will not be refunded.
What method of payment do you accept?
We accept personal, business, or bank checks and money orders or Paypal from the USA. For Paypal orders from outside the USA, please add 2.5% to cover the extra fee from Paypal.

We do not sell, share, or otherwise release names, addresses, or other information to any other person, business, or entity. We have security measures in place to prevent unauthorized access to this information, and protect all information to the best of our ability.
