| Tray No 10 - Songea Sapphire and Spessartite Garnet | ||
| We have a few Songea Sapphires from under 1 gram to over 2 grams. These stones are blue and purples, and often show 2 colors depending on what axis you view them. The spessartite garnets are from Kenya, and are clean stones, a bit darker than the new find in Tanzania, but much cleaner. All stones are graded as AAA. I took 2 pictures, the first one is natural daylight, the second picture has a small amount of electron flash fill from below. This will give you a better idea of the color of the sapphires. |
