Tray No 14 - Spessartite Garnet (new find in Tanzania)
A tray of larger Spessartite Garnets from the new find this year in Tanzania. The color on these stones is fantastic, a bright pure fanta orange with no brown. These stones have been carefully selected from the best material available. While most are not totally clean, we have graded them as AA to AA+. I would expect that many will cut AA+or even AAA however. The inclusions are typically very small bubbles, that will be hidden by the sparkle of the stones. The larger pieces are rare, and hard to come by.
